Georgia is a Certified Coach by ICC and by ICF with a specialization in Sports Mental Coaching and a Training Certification. She holds a degree in Sociology, and a Post Graduate Course in Human Resources Management and Strategic Development as well as a Certification in Principles of Business.
She started her career in Retail at DIA Portugal Supermercados, having rapidly moved to Abbott Laboratories, a leading Pharmaceutical company where she was responsible for the start up and coordination of a department.
She then moved into Human Resources Consultancy where she had the chance to manage diverse projects, such as competency evaluation and improvement and development plan definition, Assessment & Development Centres, Executive Search and Recruitment & Selection as well as the evaluation and reorganization of business structures in order to optimize them. In this sector she worked for international firms like Odgers Berndtson, local companies like Ray Human Capital and dynamic start-ups such as Jason Associates.
Later she passed onto FMCG as Human Resources Business Partner of an independent Nestlé company, where she had the opportunity to be part of the management team of a business that had the entire value chain: from production to distribution to the end customer. Here she got the rare chance of dealing with the HR related topics of the Due Diligence of the selling of the company, integration of the new Management Team and Cultural Transformation of the company, incorporating new values and mission, as well as creating an HR department and designing a new Performance Evaluation System.
She then moved to Nestlé Portugal where she assumed the HRBP position of the three verticalized Businesses in Portugal, taking responsibility for more than 300 people, supporting multiple level Managers to overcome their challenges and assume their responsibilities successfully.
Recently she returned to Consultancy where she has decided to support her clients, making use of her diverse experience focusing on designing services according to each companies needs.
Dedicated to people and solutions driven, she has a special interest in Leadership and its impact on organizations and their professionals, wanting to bring added value to both parties, focusing on the development of competencies through Coaching.
Having born in the UK and been a daughter of an expat, she has developed strong multicultural sense of being.
With a past experience in competitive swimming and still with a close relation with sports, namely through her Sports Mental Coaching services, she likes to import the results focus as well as the ability to overcome obstacles and to keep working focusing on always improving performance into all the projects she works on.
